You don’t experience the whole of Coron Palawan if don’t go up here! Standing on the top of Mount Tapyas is the Panoramic view of the whole Coron. But to go up there is NOT an easy task.

There are 724 steps up to the top. But my way up seems like FOREVER! One bottled water is not enough. So many stop-overs before reaching the ‘heaven’! lol.

So, get your plane ticket now and start climbing!

Worth the climb

WOW! AMAZING! Those are the words that will come out from your dried mouth.

All fats eaten in a month were all GONE! (or probably in a year!) And you will think twice if you want to go down anymore! How you will wish there’s a cottage to stay for the night.

But WAIT – don’t miss the real thing!

The CROSS itself! The cross symbolizes the LOVE of the Father to us – sinners who need a Savior. Truth: we have all sinned and disobeyed God – sadly, keep on disobeying God. In simple saying, you and I cannot save ourselves. We need a REDEEMER, someone who will pay for our sins because we cannot.

So, when you go up there – remember Jesus Christ is inviting you to believe in Him, trust Him and accept Him as your LORD and SAVIOR.

On the top, there’s also a shed where you can rest, overviewing the wonderful horizon.

Where you can also play, 'May Nuno sa Bundok!' LOLs!

Taking care of the place & other reminders:

1. Travel light. Don’t bring your luggages and wear appropriate attire.
2. Do some stretching before going up.
3. Dispose your empty bottled waters properly and other garbages. Carry them back with you below the mountain.
4. Don’t pick fruits and flowers. Just enjoy looking ang appreaciating them and let other people enjoy them too.
5. Vendors and sellers, please, don’t use the benches for your products – tourists, while cathing their breaths need a place to rest.
6. Make friends along the way. Believe me! You have a lot of time.
7. Help Tourism in Coron – KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN.
