"When you laugh or smile...is it real?

Keeping my head above the clouds.
Mountains are resolute.
They need not move.

"We think maybe you're really not happy.
You're just pretending."

This was from one of my workmates.

Yes, well, she is right. I'm probably not being as sincere as I would like.
But, then again, it does seem like a continuous barrage of "difference of opinion" that I have been experiencing this year.

Whenever, there is a difference of opinion, it comes down to, The Future Outcome.

Like, when many parents become exasperated with their children, they throw out lines like

"You just wait until you're a parent!"
"I told you so!"
"You think it's easy being x, y or z?"

"Best business practice" is another oxymoron.

It's a fallacy!
There is basic business acumen that should be followed but it isn't always so easy.

Companies dress it up with professional mumbo jumbo.
"Realignment", "Restructure", "Dynamic new direction"... It's a bull in a dress!

This year I have been called, "Unprofessional" and such terms, from people high up.
But, I don't have a problem.

My personal success factors are all working out.
To become, "Professional", seems to me, is to demonstrate a whole load of nervous energy and to posture in a way that reeks of ass kissing.

I'm old school.
The more you report = more parasitic cost.

Parasitic cost is any cost that doesn't earn you revenue.
Any Administration activity above customer level is a parasitic cost.

You need some administration but you really should see that it has an outcome that is not too far from revenue earning

So, I plod through, keeping my eye on what I consider important.

That is my truth I guess.

When my so called leaders, show little leadership, change their mind erratically and dramatically, that doesn't demonstrate to me that they know what they are doing.

I bite my tongue.

This year I have been called, "Unprofessional"

My favourite one is when they say someone "has a problem with authority." How's that a problem? Wouldn't want you thinking for yourself I guess...
