Coursera or Udemy?

I just received an offer from Coursera for a Coursera Plus package for one year at half price. This is actually a great offer and it gives access to official courses from Google and more. The price is with the discount $200 for an entire year, and if you study efficiently, you can learn a lot in this period. Is it worth it?

Honestly, I definitely believe that it is worth it.

But, then there is the fact that I have already bought quite a lot of courses at Udemy. These courses often cost $10-$20 per course when you buy them at a discounted price, and they are really fantastic. What is the problem? You get them much cheaper, but they often have the same high quality. But, there is something that sounds nicer about receiving a certificate from Google that you have finished a course compared to a no-name course on Udemy.

And then there is the time aspect. At Udemy you have as much time as you want to finish a course. This is positive, but it also has a negative effect. With Coursera, you have paid for a certain period or you pay per month. As a result, you want to get it done within the set time, if not, you need to pay more. At Udemy, you just buy it and then there it is... you don't have to hurry, and if you need to take a one year break, that is possible and continue later, without paying more.

As you can see, there are cons and pros with both options.... what do you think?
