Orlando is supposed to be fun and frolics for Children and Families. Caylee Marie Anthony was a two year American girl who lived in Orlando, Florida with her mother, Casey Marie Anthony and her maternal grand parents, George and Cindy Anthony. According to Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, Casey left the family's home on June 16, 2008, taking her daughter Caylee with her and did not return for 31 days. On June 15th, 2008 Caylee was reported missing by Cindy by a 9-1-1 Call and informed them that Casey's car smelled like a dead body had been inside it. Casey lied to detectives, telling them Caylee had been kidnapped by a nanny on June 9, and that she had been trying to find her, too frightened to alert the authorities. She also lied that she worked at Universal Studio, from where she had stopped working a long time ago. She was charged with first-degree murder in October 2008 and pleaded not guilty.

Casey Anthony had told detectives that she had last seen her daughter, Caylee Anthony on June 9, 2008 when she left her with her nanny, Zenaida Gonzalez. Casey stated that the address where Zenaida lived was 2863 S. Conway Road apartment number 210. The police located a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez and questioned her. Zenaida Gonzalez stated that she did not know Casey Anthony and had never heard of Caylee.

Remains of Caylee were found by a meter reader in December 2008 out in a wooden area near their family home. When found, Caylee Anthony's mouth was ducked tapped and had a hear shaped sticker on her mouth; the same stickers that were found in her mothers room. The other evidences that were found was Caylee's hair in the trunk of Casey's Car. Her lying made her the prime suspect as they found partying pictures as well and smell in Casey's trunk that could not be ignored.

The charges made against Casey were on four misdemeanour counts of providing false information to law enforcement officers, aggravated manslaughter of her child, aggravated child abuse. If convicted, she would have faced the death penalty. Defense attorney Jose Baez said the girl, Caylee, drowned in a pool at the grandparents’ home, And Baez alleged that Anthony's brother made advances toward her and was given a paternity test to see if he was Caylee's father. Baez also blamed the police department for botching the investigation, alleging detectives wanted to feed a media frenzy about a mother killing her child instead of investigating a mundane drowning.

Prosecutors, meanwhile, described Anthony as a deceptive, party-going woman who fed off her parents and had told police a string of lies from the beginning.Prosecutors said in their opening statement that Caylee died from her murderer placing three pieces of duct tape over Caylee's mouth and nose. The craziest part was the Caylee told innmates some details of her daughters death that only the authorities knew as well admitted to having drugged Caylee when she wanted to go party.

July 5, 2011 – After about ten hours of deliberation, the jury acquits Casey Anthony of all felony charges.
