The Philippine president Duterte now declared that the capital Manila will impose a community quarantine imposed by the local governments of the cities within Metro Manila. But Metro Manila will be on a lockdown status at March 15 up to April 16th or so which means land, air, and sea travel to and from Metro Manila will get suspended but will be subject to the assessment of the Department of health.
Classes will be suspended from to day for about today, executive branches of the government is suspended but the health and emergency services will continue. People who use the train and transport services continues but people will be told to observe "social distancing."
Mass gatherings are prohibited and people are advised to stay at home and make use of their free time to do productive things. Most of all just cooperate with the authorities so that there would be no trouble.
