- Ilavangam – Syzygium aromaticum – Flower bud
- Ciru kanjori ver – Tragia involucrata – Root
- Akkirakaram ver – Anacyclus pyrethrum - Root
- Mulli ver – Solanum anguivi - Root
- Katukkai – Terminalia chebula – Fruit rind
- Adathodai ilai – Justicia adhatoda - Leaf
- Karpuravalli Ilai - Coleus aromaticus - Leaf
- Kottam – Saussurea costus - Root
- Seendhil – Tinospora cordifolia - Stem
- Siruthekku – Clerodendron serratum - Root
- Nilavembu – Andrographis paniculata – Aerial parts
- Vattathiruppi ver – Cissampelos pareira L. - Root
- Korai kizhangu – Cyperus rotundus – Root tuber
Equal part of these 15 ingredients, made into coarse powder.
Preparation of decoction:
8 gm powder in 4 glass water, boiled and reduced into 1 glass
May be take twice or thrice according to the severity of the fever and other respiratory symptoms.
Since the recipe is recently promoted as a prophylaxis for COVID-19, for prophylaxis, it may be taken once in a day for three days, if required it may be taken after a gap of 3-4 days. No need to take it continuously.
