True Education Parents' Association Announces Network Statement of Jeonnam Innovation School

Following the teachers' union in South Jeolla Province, parents' groups have called for recognition of the death of a teacher who died after being vaccinated against Corona 19.

The Jeonnam branch of the National Association of Parents for True Education and the Jeonnam Innovation School Parents Network issued a joint statement on the 16th, saying, "The reason why a 24-year-old teacher died after being vaccinated on the 3rd was in accordance with the government's policy to vaccinate him first in order to prevent disruptions in the operation of the school curriculum," urging the South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education and the Education to start procedures to recognize his death as soon as soon as possible.

"The teacher loved sports and was healthy enough to participate in the soccer personality education study club at school," these parents' groups said. "If it weren't for vaccinations, they would still be teaching students in a healthy way."

"I trusted the doctor's words that it is okay to get vaccinated and the vaccine is safe, but the teacher did not come back," he said. "The government is just saying that the proof of connection with the vaccine should be scientifically proven to calm citizens' anxiety, and the university hospital that sent the teacher back complaining of pain is refusing to take decisive responsibility."

The group repeatedly asked, "What responsible actions are the government, the Ministry of Education and the Office of Education doing even though the young teacher ended his short life unfairly?" "Don't consider the connection with the vaccine, admit that he died for the children, and take care of his death."

It also called for measures to create a stable educational environment for students and faculty at the school site through psychological treatment and other support.

The teacher, who was working at an elementary school in Jangheung, died in an intensive care unit at a university hospital in Gwangju on September 3 after showing abnormal reactions after the first inoculation of Pfizer on July 28.

The South Jeolla Province Office of Education and the South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education also said in a joint statement on the 8th, "We urge the Ministry of Education and the South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education to take care of the bereaved families as an educational community and make efforts to fulfill the possible courtesy along with the passing of the teachers in question."
