Arizona the next New York?

Arizona just reported almost 6000 cases in 24 hours, and 80 deaths. (See horizontal lines of graphs for where July 1 numbers will reach.)

Test positive % is above 28. That means the real increase is FAR worse than the reported numbers show. This is heading towards New York April territory.

And still no lockdown talk from the governor. Masks will help but they're not likely to reverse this trend.

For perspective, the EU has more than 60 times the population of Arizona. They're averaging 4000 new cases/day in total. Arizona is approaching 6000.
