So, it's been a wild ride, but since local lockdowns have gone back into place, the company has decided to give every employee a free covid test. It's not mandatory and doesn't determine if you remain employed or not, but just as a precaution to coming into the office, meeting clients etc.
The good news is - the test was negative. The bad news is, there's no antibody test but given all the events running up to now. I wouldn't be surprised to know that I was immune - whew!
I am really beginning to think that it's all about getting low viral load exposure to build up the antibodies. All the dining out and all those gigs throughout the summer, all of the people managing at work; I must have been exposed.
It seems to me that we ought to be focusing on antibodies and even presenting policy which exempts and values those with them. Why in the world are we requiring them to wear masks? I have several friends that tested positive for antibodies long ago and recently and still have antibodies. It seems immunity lasts longer than the experts predicted (surprise, huh?). That we are not talking about the vast majority of people who beat it and are now immune to it and their lifestyles is a clear sign to me that this was never really about overcoming this, but rather staying enthralled to the fear it creates and the Great Reset.
I kinda think that anyone who has tested positive for antibodies ought to be given a little badge which says "I beat Covid and am immune." that people could wear like the little 'I Voted' stickers they hand out on Election Day. The problem with that, of course, is people will then feel empowered to go around asking to see people's badges. It's all just madness. But we ought to be celebrating those who have beat it and who are immune instead of only dreadfully brooding over the bad news and the potentially bad news and using scare and intimidation tactics.
