This data isn't new, but for those who haven't seen it yet Public Health England published their Delta vaccine effectiveness data in NEJM.
Pfizer is 88% effective against symptomatic infection after two doses against Delta.
AstraZeneca is 67% effective against symptomatic infection after two doses against Delta.
The first dose for both is substantially reduced in effectiveness compared to Alpha (35.6% for Pfizer and 30% for AstraZeneca). Hence why everyone that is partially vaccinated should get their second dose as soon as possible.
Unlike Israel's vaccine effectiveness data, PHE did a test-negative case-control study for vaccine effectiveness. Vaccinated and unvaccinated tested groups were compared to each other by odds ratio, rather than by total vaccinated population vs total unvaccinated population.
