Vaccine derived myocarditis debunked.

This is a good one. Besides being less severe than viral myocarditis from coronavirus infection, the vast majority of vaccine-derived myocarditis cases have recovery without treatment. It really is apples to oranges.

And with the coronavirus booster doses, we are seeing even lower rates of vaccine-derived myocarditis. The risk is predominantly concentrated in the second dose. Increasing the time between doses is a way to lower the risk if it concerns you.

As noted, the risk varies by age with the risk primarily concentrated among young men. For older adults, women, and young children the risk is much lower. With young children, vaccine-derived myocarditis is especially rare, so it really shouldn't dictate your decision to vaccinate your son or daughter.

And of course, coronavirus infection besides having a higher risk of a more severe myocarditis also comes with a whole host of other health risks that the vaccines do not carry. And vaccination will offer you protection. So from a holistic standpoint the cost benefit could not be clearer.

In fact for all age groups, including young men, the vaccines and booster doses have a positive net benefit.
