Right now, I am finding it hard to put my thoughts into words.
With deepest sympathy to all the families in the world who has lost someone from this horrible illness that I don't know much about.
Myself and my family have had to self isolate due to covid-19 and I wanted to put my thoughts out there, not because I or my family have covid-19 but because I have felt for a while now something had to be put into writing.
Tonight, I watched on the news that our country the UK will be starting to close the schools as of Friday, is this to little to late, only time will tell.
We decided to take our children out of school as of Monday, it was a choice that was hard to make but we felt like we had to make this now rather than wait for our government to make this choice for us.
Last week, I talked to an old friend that I met here on steemit, @tumutanzi. after our messages to and from each other he expressed the situation to me that it was serious.
Our conversation led me to listen to his words and from this we made our choice earlier than most, isolation yes we have taken our selves out of the way and this is how it will be until we feel it is safe for us and our children to venture back out into public.
One thing that stood out to me in our conversation was, "This virus doesn't care who you are, no mater where you live, it can still get you"
To me this is a time for us all to come together, not in groups, but to help one another survive this illness, but yet all I have seen is stupidity.
We have witnessed arguments, fights and panic buying, which has turned us all into a nation of animals.
It is so sad to see, but people are over buying and leaving nothing for anyone else, the old can't get a look in, and even the young are going to suffer as people are over buying baby products.
We are meant to look after one another not take it all and leave none for the rest.
My wife and I live on a budget, we feed a family of 5 on £50 a week, we buy what we need week to week and have never taken or bought anything that we would never use in that week.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am with some of the people out there. it isn't about grab as much as you can and run, it is about making sure that everyone makes it though this horrible time.
We have found that the shops have run out of soap, so people have bought all the soap on the shelves and left nothing for others, to use, this to me is a daft act because don't we all have to wash our hands to clean the germs away?
Toilet paper is another thing that is in short supply, I have witnessed a fight on Monday between two women over toilet paper, there was hair all over the floor from each of them as they pulled at each other hair. Crazy Right?
An older lady in the supermarket was pushed to the floor for 2 pints of milk by a man who wanted them, he took them out of the ladies hand while she was lying on the floor. Another man punched him in the face and gave the lady her milk back. Crazy Right?
Some people just boil my blood, I have always thought about the good in the world, and if something like this would happen we would all pull together, but I have been proven wrong.
I did witness something that did restore my faith in humanity, a lady was looking for a tin of beans for her husband, while she was talking to a shop worker about this a Asian man said he would split his beans with her. he told her that he was going to buy 4 tins to share between his family, but she could have his tin.
I thought how nice was that.
If we don't help one another this pandemic could be the end for a lot of people, and that could be a loved one of ours.
Stay safe, rest well and take care.
until next time
Good to know you are taking measures to cope with the virus. From the experiences we have suffured in China, you can do your best to greatly reduce the chance from being infected by the virus. Such as stay home as much as possible, wash you hands each time back home, have good rest, avoid short distance contact with other people, check your body temperautre each day, etc.
One problem for me is that it seems many especially young guys in western world do not take the virus seriously, the ignorance of virus (some governments even take it as another type of flu) but too much focus on the self freedom may expose yourself to the damn virus, which is so easy to spread and catch you.
Google also offers "do the five" tips:
Hands. Wash them often
Elbow. Cough into it
Face. Don't touch it
Feet. Stay more than 3ft apart
Feel sick? Stay home
So trust yourself and take mearsures scientifically, and do not expect to much from your government.
Wish everyone all the best.

Thank you @tumutanzi, We are in our house for the forseeable future now, we went out to a wholesale place today to load up on some of the things we will struggle getting while isolated.
Government is on about doing food hubs, this is a place where food will be given to a driver who will bring it to you house, and then you have to collect it from your door step.
Strange times, you can feel it everywhere you go, no one trusts anyone anymore. it is horrible.
The amount of fights that have broken out in shops is crazy too, People fighting over things like paracetamol, toilet paper and milk.
Can't beleive what we have been reduced too.
god bless you and take care.

It is nauseating to watch. Also, why do people wait to be told there's a problem and then panic?
