Australian Council SHOT SHELTER DOGS Dead Instead of Allowing Volunteers to Collect Them, Because… Covid

In New South Wales, Australia, officials shot and killed rescued dogs to prevent shelter volunteers from leaving their homes to pick them up and care for them.

The council ruled that having the volunteers come and collect the animals would somehow put council employees at risk of catching and spreading Covid-19.
