UK's NHS Hires US 'Spy-Tech' Firm Palantir To Extract Patient Data Without Patient Consent

The United Kingdom's National Health Service (NHS) is set to open the country's hospital databases to Denver-based Palantir Technologies.
The NHS believes that researching and analyzing patients' hospital data will help the NHS better understand and tackle the crisis in treatment waiting times resulting from the "COVID-19" pandemic.

To accelerate this effort, NHS England has instructed NHS Digital to gather patient data from hospitals, extract it to its data platform, and give it to Palantir Technologies.
