As ruas do Equador estão sendo tomadas por corpos abandonados de vítimas da Covid-19 em meio ao aumento de casos de contaminação pelo novo coronavírus (Sars-CoV-2) no país. O governo reconheceu que, por conta das medidas de restrição de circulação e toques de recolher, está com dificuldades para recolher os cadáveres.
Além desse problema, autoridades dizem que os hospitais estão ficando lotados porque famílias não estão retirando os corpos de seus parentes.
