My Last Covid-19 Report for Now.

Washington is a state of 7.8 million people and 10th largest economy in the US.

We had the first documented Covid-19 case in the US and we took it seriously.

It's been circulating here since the very beginning and I do mean the very beginning.

Even before the lockdown became official many of us limited contact with others right away as the world watched to see how bad this was going to be. We cringed at the models and we stayed at home as much as possible as the entire world watched to see how Covid Spread.

Most of our early cases which increased the panic came from Senior Facilities in Seattle and a Hospice facility as well.

But we stayed inside, we flattened the curve as we were asked and we didn't overwhelm the hospitals. They were never close.

However there were a handful of cases in the general public as well.

We flattened the curve and thankfully Covid-19 just hasn't been as bad as originally thought.

Our Governor not only has not relented on the 2nd strictest lockdown in the Nation he keeps extending it. Many counties haven't had a new case in over a week and the entire East side of the state has been very light in numbers and deaths.

So, I have decided to resume my normal life and activities as best I can within limits on what is open.

We were locked in for one reason and they keep extending it and adding new rules for other reasons we don't understand.

The entire thing has had too much media, fear and attention and while I know it is real, and dangerous it has become a dangerous political game.

I will be limiting any information or discussion around Covid until the situation has new information or updates are warranted.

At this point I no longer feel my states response is on par with the level of risk we are facing here. I no longer wish to add my voice to the the debate.

Here in Jefferson Co. we're evidently "outlying" enough that we're prequalified to move to "Stage 2," whatever that means.

Of course, we're also a tourist area so a bunch of eedjits from Seattle will be here as soon as they learn we have "less quarantine."

yep people are getting tired of not been able to have a normal life

We are getting closer but takes so long to get fully started, yet everything shutdown in a blink of an eye.....?
