The State Health Department has fixed the rates of two more types of COVID-19 tests – TrueNat and CBNAAT – at Rs 1,200 each. These two tests can be done only in laboratories or nursing homes that have ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) and NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) approval. Sources in the Department said that the rates of the RT-PER tests will remain unchanged – Rs 500 in hospital and Rs 700 for home collection of samples.
