LPL now after IPL, BPL, CPL

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has set a scheduled date for the Sri Lankan Premier League (LPL) of their domestic Twenty20 tournament. But at the same time the Caribbean Premier League and England's Twenty20 Blast Tournament will be held so they are unlikely to get foreign cricketer.
The LPL will be held between August 18 and September 10. Meanwhile, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will run from 8th to 16th September. There will be six teams in the inaugural edition of LPL.1519158150-picsay.jpg

The IPL season 11 will take about two months. The South-Hampshire T20 league will be played from December to January. Sri Lanka's board has been in a busy schedule. So it may be a good time for them to organize this tournament in August-September.
SLC targets players from New Zealand, Bangladesh and Australia. These teams have less games at that time. Pakistan players can also be an alternative. It may seem like LPL struggles to play in the team.
However, local players of Sri Lankan T-20 cricket must be welcomed in such a tournament.
