With the deaths of the Thrintun Empire and the better part of all life in the universe going with them this was truly a dark and depressing time to be alive to understate the gravity of the event. Despite this with the galactic powers of the universe working together alongside the Ancients peace and life was restored to a fraction of its prosperity during the Great Galactic Peace over the course of 400’000’000 years (Four Hundred million years) with the restoration of a few hundred species from extinction and much of the now endangered lifeforms were brought back from the brink of extinction with the Ancients help as well. This was the galactic political climate during the Ectasian Period
The Earth Will Always Be There
Back on Earth during the Ectasian Period (1’400’000’000 B.C.E. – 1’240’000’000 B.C.E.) the Super continent of Columbia finally began to break apart with the continent being completely gone by the end of this period. Afterwards the Earth entered the Stenian Period of 1’200’000’000 B.C.E. to 1’000’000’000 B.C.E. which saw the Earth’s naturally evolving lifeforms develop sexual reproduction alongside the evolution of the Plankton lifeforms.

Limping out of the Dark Times
By the time of the Neoproterozoic Era in the Tonian Period of the year 1’000’000’000 B.C.E. the Galactic Sphere the Ancients and the rest of the galaxy had finally achieved a sense of normalcy and stability after restoring many of the extinct and threatened species across the galaxy and in addition the Ancients had established a network of quicker intergalactic travel known as the Jumpgates and with the increases in galactic trade and cultural exchange and blossoming new creations and inventions for galactic life a new age began as the Dark Ages of the Galaxy ended by de facto and by the decree of the Forces of Sentience by an official statement and speech commemorating the anniversary of the Suicide Night incident.
Within this new age of peace for the Galaxy the balance of Galactic power shifted towards the Vorlons and the Ancients who gained the most influence with their domains and their galactic political power expanding their domains and their wealth of knowledge, cultural achievements, and funds.
However, this would not be without conflict as the Vorlons would learn as the Shadows took offense to their longtime rivals increasing presence on the Galactic Stage and so conflicts frequently erupted between the Shadows and the Vorlons that the rest of the Galaxy condemned in the wake of the tragedies of Suicide Night so the Forces of Sentience were not called together for this isolated minor one power to another conflict.
To make matters worse for the Vorlons they accidentally opened a portal to Thirdspace and they had to fight the entire war with the genocidal beings there singlehandedly due to the Galactic Political climate being heavily antiwar in its discourse and discussion during this time. Though this only increased the Vorlon’s power projection when they won the war which also increased their prestige as a galactic power! Legend has it also that the First Ones had been inspired to leave their galaxy and go into spacefaring because of the Vorlon’s great achievements that their species had that the First One’s dreamed and desired to replicate.
Conclusion
Here we see the resilience of sentient life to come together and overcome great challenge. Though as we have seen with the Vorlon’s rise to power in this era without the presence of a greater threat to unite sentients together these groups and species will start to fight each other again.
For example, unbeknownst to everyone the Elder Things had secretly colonized the Earth now and they began to plant Thrintun Yeast and import their slaves the Shoggoths onto the planet Earth to help them and they had settled in and around the lands and the oceans that would later be in and around Antarctica later in Earth’s history and evolution as its tectonic plates continued to drift.
Though as the Elder Things would quickly find out about the Earth. This planet would become more than they bargained for…
