Craft Beer + Open Source = Bootleg Brew

CITRA HIGH 9.5% ABV

This unbelievably dank beer is a biannual limited release double ipa from Madtree Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio. These beers are hard to find and the small allotment that bottle shops receive is bought almost immediately, no real marketed can art needed.

People often say they can't wait for the next release of CITRA HIGH, but they don't have to wait anymore...

Because the recipe for this beer and many of Madtree's other brew is downloadable from their website! https://assets.locomotive.works/sites/56f33a1e74c4836b647fb0c4/content_entry582e4419a2f422468b579656/582fb86274c483227e2eaeb7/files/citra_high.pdf?1510239624

When you are craving that limited beer just BIY (brew it yourself)
Radically transparency is where it's at

Thanks for sharing! I do love me some beer! I've never made any though.

It's alot of fun. You get to be a drunk mad scientist!

I'm surprised by the corn sugar in there, although a 10.2% I shouldn't be, I just wouldn't have thought it would add much except alcohol, and with that amount of hops I would expect all the alcohol to come from grains for balance.
