design and craft go hand in hand, beer jedi mind tricks but that’s ok!

I’m a sucker for a good can design (they know that) that’s why they do it, maybe it goes hand in hand with ‘crafting’ the beer — pushing the very hops to the edge of breaking point to force a flavour to make it act out in a certain way and they creating a strong narrative around that, dunno, either way it’s pretty fucking rad and I’ve been enjoying these new era of craft and design, I’ve had some solid beers too!

Three for five quid is pretty damn good as well but of course three is never enough but it’s a nice little starter to the days proceedings ;)

Had some weird cans thou this weekend, the whole top was the pull, at first I thought I had in some way broke the can or it was a manufacturing issue with the can supplier but it appears not, first time I’ve ever seen such a wide opening on the top of the can, certainly makes it easier to swig these things and I guess you get to see the COLOUR of the beer, maybe this is what they are going for — mega quaffable and displaying their colours in the process, craft beer peacocking at it’s finest! :)

I’m particularly liking the citrus and mango style beers at the moment, also like cloudy belgiums but made here (of course you can’t beat Belgium beer but still damn good) I feel like the whole craft beer industry especially here in the uk is really taking off and they seem to have the whole design and beer making process of the chart, I’m sure the exports are doing great as well, I certainly know we are importing a lot of the Kona/Hawaii brand as well, good industry to be into if you know around a beer process!

Still can’t get my head around these ‘whole’ top pulls thou, is that a new thing, have you seen these, what do you think about them? I was kinda concerned that they would ‘spill’ out but I have to say finishing a super cold one of these in fast fashion gave me the hit I was looking for!
