Our first order with embossing was for Christmas cards! Luckily we do have a hot plate press in the office. So we made a simple design and ordered a metal die to be made.
We started with the handmade paper sheets, which had to be very smooth, so the emboss would be clear.
After we got out die, we test pressed a few sheets and the results were very good looking! So we just went and did the whole batch right away.
And this is the finished card. The embossed handmade paper is glued on dark green cardstock and silver hot foil text is stamped under it. I hope you like it!
