The court dismissed the Craig Wright honor and dignity suit against Roger Vera

According to Wright, Vere defamed him in a YouTube video, where he claimed that Wright was not the creator of the Bitcoin that was hiding under the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto.

According to a decision released on Wednesday, Wright did not provide sufficient evidence that the case should be conducted by the High Court of England and Wales. Mentioning Wright's reputation internationally, the judge stated that he "found no objective evidence" that the plaintiff's name had been shamed in England.

"The evidence clearly reflects the fact that the most significant statements that caused discontent [the plaintiff] are from the United States," the court ruled. According to the documents submitted, only 7% of the users who viewed the videos were in the UK.

In addition, the court "did not find as such evidence of any real reputational damage that the plaintiff might have suffered because of the defendant's publications.

Earlier, Wright sued the author of the crypto-podcast, Peter McCormack, for the same reason, and threatened Vitalik Buterin and John Macafi, among others.
