비잔티움 연대기 3편 (쇠퇴와 멸망 편)은 앞의 두 권에 비해 천천히 읽다 보니 읽는 진도가 느리다. 오늘 오전에는 4차 십자군이 콘스탄티노플을 점령하여 라틴제국을 만드는 1204년까지의 이야기를 읽었다. (아직도 망하려면 250년 남았다. ^^) 약 200년 가까이 진행된 십자군 전쟁 자체가 명분과 진행과정 모두 잘못되었지만, 이중 이번에 등장한…
