How many writers have experienced writer's block? I certainly have endured my share of it. For the past 4 years, I've been trapped in a writer's fog; I know what I want to write but can't see through the fog.
Instead of forcing myself to write, I took time off. When I felt ready to return to the writing process, I returned. Different ways of writing have been my way of easing back into writing.
My first venture was a purchase of large decorative paper. I choose a new word or a quote and then write a short poem based on it. I also purchased a writing prompt book.
Overall, I feel at peace returning to writing. Writing is healing.
