This turtle is one of the fastest of it's species. It usually lives in dark places, like dense forests and caves where its green shell can be easily mistaken for a clump of moss. It mostly stays hidden and silent in its shell, where it senses movement with it's antennae, ready to pounce on any small animals that happen to pass by
