Project model railway #44 - telephone booth

in creative •  5 years ago

Finally Klein Waldberg got his first public telephone booth.
Now people can call their friends and family.
Too bad Caroline got there first...

she needed to call her best friend Jennifer.

this may take some time. Others can wait.

it's not her fault that Jennifer is living in the big city. A decision has to be made about her hair cut

okay okay, it's getting late, maybe we talk again tomorrow

Hello! A pleasure ♡

How wonderful! The work looks so great, I see so much effort and dedication that I'm glad there are people like that on Steemit ...

Super cool or Chévere as we would say in Venezuela. Pretty creative this phone booth model.
Question: -re you really connected? Greetings @wirago

ehy dear @wirago, you made a beautiful post !! Caroline's manipulation of the new phone box for urgent haircut is really nice! did you build everything yourself? I imagine it takes a lot of patience !! beautiful your photos and your description, congratulations on the curie vote

Hey. Glad you like it :)
Some parts are bought others are hand made. For example, the vegetation is hand made (made a post about that some time ago), some figures are hand painted, cars are bought and sometimes modified. The market is luckily very big which helps a lot.

it's a very fun hobby! Is it a neverending project or do you usually finish a place (like the railway) and then start a new one?

Well, it will be finished at some point, but you always can add details or make something better. There is also an exchangeable part to swap between little dioramas

bello, e poi? queste costruzioni restano nel salotto di casa?

You may laugh but public telephones were the worst. In The army we used to queue for hours at base and even then you wren't guaranteed a phone call before lights out. Very good use of a model railway and thinking out the box making a decent story.
