Being in the Temple's Valley (Valle dei Templi) in Agrigento - Sicily, Italy- is such a stunning experience.
Walking around Greek history and the remains of a great civilization, travel the same roads that have existed for thousands of years is thrilling.
Add to the place the sunset and all is perfect, the colors change, the ocher of the stone burn in the last ray of sun.
Obviously these are the colors of today, in the past the temples were covered in white. Usually the marble was the main stone but, in Sicily, the common material, less expensive, was a very compact tuff.
