Films inspire my creativity a lot, especially historical period dramas. The locations, set designs and costumes are always amazing, even if the movie itself ends up being blah. Here are three films I watched this week:
• Brooklyn \ Probably the third time I’ve seen this. Slow, poignant, and patriotic.
• An Education \ Easily on my cult film list, seen this countless of times. Carey Mulligan is one of my most favourite actresses, and Peter Sarsgaard makes this film. Her Dad is hilarious.
• The Favourite \ Twisted humour, disturbing and pretty weird but absolutely brilliant acting, especially by Olivia Coleman.
What did you watch recently that inspired you?
