I had found something that would mean I would never be poor again - but there was a catch, nothing is what it seems and deception lurks when you weave a life story with a fairy's knitting needle because it takes magic to win in this ancient and fascinating enterprise.

Marion could not wait to apply what she had learned during her time at the "okiya" where she was an apprentice geisha.

She had always dreamed of coming out of anonymity, of being rich and famous, and now she was about to achieve this, according to her exalted-judgment, as she managed to transfer her current status to a higher status based on ancient Japanese art.

"Witch, me? I wish! Witch the glory that bewitches the eyes of those of us who jump into the void without a parachute," she said to her roommate during a sleepover, in an attempt to give herself courage, because now she was riding the donkey and should to herd it.

(End of the five minutes)

Everything came as easy as if fate will play into loaded dice. The opportunity presented itself as an errand for her on a sightseeing trip around Japan, Kyoto seduced her and she adopted it. So it wasn't so unusual for her to want to learn a trade that was highly paid and exciting as it was.

Her beauty captivated many important men, now she would be the hook to fish in a troubled river and win the lottery by getting a "Danna", or lover, who is a wealthy man, with resources to finance the costs of the traditional "geisha" training and other considerable expenses.

She had worked for that, she was a "maiko" with an advantage despite being a Westerner, she knew the precise movements. "Princes fall in love with intelligent, beautiful and mysterious ladies," she said to herself, cheering herself up for phase two of her purpose, "and my mystery was armed by the best Geisha Master, with power in the dark arts."

Now, it was time to unleash her magic, her master would retire, and she would take on her clientele. It was her turn to shine and entertain at parties, meetings, and banquets as an artist versed in dance, music, and storytelling. This was phase one of her plan.
