Piet Mondrian - Scalabe Usable Flexible
I saw some of the wonderfully creative logo treatments in the @creativecrypto (by @sndbox) Litecoin logo (previous week's) contest, where steemit artists had re-imagined Litecoin's iconic logo in a range of very clever homage styles. It was so interesting Litecoin's founder Charlie Lee tweeted it. (Respect to the Steemit Community).
De Stijl
So when I saw that the EOS logo was up next, I immediately knew I was going to reference the incredible talents of Piet Mondrian, the Dutch Artist and Theorist, regarded as one of the Masters of 20th Century Art. Mondrian; a founder of the De Stijl movement, explored abstract art using reductive theory and evolved the works on canvas into a larger scale, later becoming iconic and instantly recognisable abstract and graphic work, so beloved of Art Directors and Graphic Designers.
Blockchain Visualisation
The work still retains great power in today's fast paced and visually rich world of infinite information and as it's composed of blocks, I thought, had a theoretical connection to the Blockchain Revolution. Mondrian would probably have liked that and would most likely be a proponent and advocate of Blockchain thinking. I have chosen and referenced the graphic version of Mondrian's colour schemes which use pure primary tones, which seem more relevant to EOS. Like Mondrian EOS is scalable, usable, flexible. He surely would have been a big fan of decentralisation.
I have actually become a Blockchain Visualiser. A new role and a phrase I have coined to describe what I do. As a Creative Director of a multi Award Winning Design Studio & A Creative Sector Business Mentor (& crypto writer).. I have combined my passion for and knowledge of Blockchain tech with scriptwriting & Art Direction, recently finishing my first major & (second official) studio project, Scripting, Directing & Producing a series of exciting animated films for the revolutionary OpenCT.io platform which is about to kick the TELCO sector into space with their twin killer Apps BD-WAN & BaaT, which are Blockchain Defined Wide Area Networks and Blockchain as a Transport, respectively. I look forward to sharing them with the steemit community very soon !

In this early departure from a more traditional style of representation, Mondrian begins to use the De Stijl rules to produce work which ostensibly reject the normal rules of figurative mimesis which he now saw as a "reprehensible imitation of reality". (A great phrase I'm sure you'll agree)
