So much detail in one quick sketch! I know I am prejudiced, but I really like this unusual view of life from my son @bxlphabet.
This is a study of a life model who posed for a class at a Summer Camp Art Class. The models were dancers from another part of the program and did several quick poses in an hour or so.
The artists were working in various mediums, and it looks like this was done in dark charcoal and highlighted in white.
In this sketch I like the hair and the right side of the upper body. I wonder if this girl had patterned clothing.
And I especially like the practice strokes on the left side of the frame and how they balance out the composition.
As always, I hope my son is keeping up with his art and continuing to document his version of the world. He is always the happiest when being creative.
