🐭 Speedy Gonzales - Mouse Contestant Recap

Speedy Gonzales won his first match by a whisker, when @wildfamily cast the tie-breaking vote just this morning. Speedy is “The Fastest Mouse in All Mexico,” featured in the Looney Tunes cartoon series. His major character traits include the ability to run extremely fast, along with the ability to offend with his ethnic stereotypes, i.e. exaggerated Mexican accent. In lieu of his controversial character traits, Speedy remains a popular character in Latin America, according to the League of United Latin American Citizens, who advocated for the return of his animated shorts. Regardless of his social acceptance, Speedy is the mouse hero who swiftly saves the day with cries of “¡Ándele! ¡Ándele! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! Yeehaw!”
