Our hearts have two halves, each made of two chambers. One half pumps blood into the lungs to get oxygen in it, the blood then goes from the lungs to the other half of the heart, from there the blood is pumped out around the body, and finally back in to the first half to get more oxygen again. Although our hearts are one, they are made of two halves which work so well together, they are like one!
