The Night's Watch men stay warm by IKEA's clothes

When looking at the very popular "Game of Thrones" series, it's hard to imagine that some these are made by IKEA`s clothes. Yet, this is the case.

The HBO series has a budget of around $ 10 million per episode, but that does not mean they are spending it exorbitantly. Part of the costumes are made of ordinary IKEA clothes. Costume maker Michele Clapton told the audience during an evening at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

But who`s costumes?

These are the costumes of the Night's Watch. The men can be seen in many scenes at Castle Black on The Wall. Important characters like Jon Snow and Samwel Tarly are therefore kept warm by clothes of the Swedish furniture brand.

"These capes are actually IKEA clothes. We take everything we can get," said Clapton for a smiling room. But before they can be seen in the show, the clothes are cut, shaved and tanned. As a result, they get a true Westeros look.

Whichever clothes it is precisely is not clear, but the chance is high that it is the Tjen, Alhede, Höjerup or Rens.
