Out of ideas...

in creativity •  7 years ago

Sometimes...

Sometimes when I'm out of ideas and struggling with lack of creativity, I just browse through some of my older photos.

Tools of the trade

While I'm not 100 % sure it will help me in any way, I will get a reminder that I didn't have to have any ideas for some of my earlier photos either.

And maybe that's what it often boils down to.

If you don't have any ideas, and you just keep your eyes open, you will eventually see something worth taking a deeper look, and maybe, just maybe it'll inspire you to create something out of it. Something you value as your own creation.

That's when you notice you found your creativity again.

Hahaha, My dad used to have this kind of camera. I am still sure he still keeps it. I cant remember the name of the camera, but I always use it when I was much younger. You really have some good times with cameras.

I think its all part of the game. Creativity comes and goes.

Nice tools you have :D

you are the most creative person i have ever seen on steemit :)

Oh boy, I just went through this same feeling two days ago, spent hours on end looking at posts, and my own photos but still failed. So I just walked away from it all for the morning. By late afternoon, I got some juice back and started posting.

fantastic shot indeed, in black and white it looks even more attractive and beautiful.

@gamer00,
It says "Fujica"! I didn't know about that camera before! I used Fuji camera once! But I never made a photography of that camera :D Coz I had one cam nah :D
Great photography and you had skills of photography from your birth!

Cheers~

Thanks but really, I wasn't always a photographer. I used to dabble with it at times, but it never caught up to me until my second son was born, in 2010. That's about the time I truly started learning photography. By that time I was already 34 years old.

Fujica was a popular brand of the Fuji company from 1948 to the late 1970's, "Fujica" comes from "Fuji" and "camera". Later, I guess in the 1980's the camera brand name was shortened to "Fuji".

@gamer00,
Wow I didn't know that before! Anyway now you are doing a great photography! Congratz friend!

Cheers~

The photo is beautiful. Black and white photos have their unique beauty. Nice.

hmmm i wish i could have a camera too, mobile photography can't quench my thirst.

I like you post but the beer will be later. However explain further, how can Fujica camera and pen be tools of trading ?

@gamer00 - Oh my goodness, you made a perfect photography in past days too... Nice you decided to share them Sir <3 Therefore, I wish to ReSteem your post.
