Over the past several months I've been working on another major wing project which is now (almost) done! This set is a large white feathered set that opens to a wingspan of approximately 4 meters, has over 1000 feathers sewn onto each wing, and can be opened and closed with a remote control.

I say they are almost finished since although the wings themselves are complete the costume with them is not yet. I hope to complete the costume within the next year. The batteries also drain rather quickly at the moment since they are powered by simple AAs but I will be changing this soon
In the meantime though I made my wings into an OC I'm calling Lady Cardinal (as in the red bird since the costume is red with wings). I wore Lady Cardinal to Wellington Armageddon Expo (sadly couldn't enter the contest as the judges there are my tutors at my study location), and also to Cupa Dupa which is a street festival (and I won the cosplay contest there!).
