Looking into Credits(CRDS)

in credits •  8 years ago

Hey guys,

I recently saw a new player out there known as Credits(CRDS). Seems to be relatively new, just launched on the 17th this month so I was looking into it.

I downloaded the wallet, and can't seem to figure out synchronizing it to the network. For some reason I am just getting no peers, maybe I need to manually do something,

Can someone else help me out? It looks like a promising coin to mine, it's cpu only I believe, if it turns out to be worth anything, considering it's newness.

Interesting. Where can I find more info about it?

crds.io is their website...

Let me know if you can figure out the wallet/mining thing! I haven't actually looked into it besides downloading the wallet, so I will do that as well right now.

Did you open the ports?
Webpage says:

P2P Port: 31000
RPC Port: 31050
Masternode Port: 31000

Yeah, I am just seeing that now... I was a little confused on where to open these ports from? Through the wallet? or my other networking connections?

Not sure.. Anyhow; something seems to have gone wrong with the launch. So they seem to be doing a relaunch. That's probably why it didn't work. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1944858.480

Edit: Som sort of scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976736.msg19678955#msg19678955

Not a scam, the original dev left after selling some CRDS OTC. I have been mining CRDS since launch and have got a new dev working with us. https://crds.co is the correct URL for the project.

The original dev didn't include an seeders in the code. I have got Credits(CRDS) back on track since he left with v1.1.0 being released a couple of weeks ago. https://crds.co is the website for more info.
