Mirrors

It is not unusual to look in a mirror and see something that you didn't notice before, only to turn and see it there. But what is unusual is to see something that is not actually there. This is often so tiny, and mostly overlooked. Soon, every time you glanced into the mirror a small thing has changed. Something you did not notice before.

As the changes grew, more and more, it became clear that the changes weren't just in the mirror. Small changes began to appear in real life. The same as in the mirror. It was as if - but, that can't be possible.

After years and years of minor changes, little "fixes" to the world, they became to become clear. You would look in the mirror to see yourself and - yourself. Another one of you. You would turn around and then - nothing. You look back and it is there again.

Everyone saw this and panic ensued. Mirror companies crashed in business, mirror shards were everywhere. But they were there in every reflective surface. No one knew what to do. Everyplace in the world, everywhere, had this happen. Protests and experiments, all to no avail.

Soon people began to disappear and the connection was immediately linked. Panic rose and soon no one knew what to do. More and more people began to adapt lives without reflective surfaces.

But this won't help them.

As you know, mirrors only reflect things.
