Creepy Clown Sightings - Jesters and Clowns back for revenge!

Phantom clown sightings were prominent in the 1980s. There were sightings all over the U.S. Now they are back again!! Behind every urban legend is a darker truth, a hidden collective trauma that manifests itself in different guises such as the creepy clown phenomenon.

In the past clowns were poor, some worked for circuses. There were disasters and hard times for clowns in the past in north american history. Also jesters in old kingdoms held positions of great power. They were the only ones who could make fun of the king and not be killed for it. You could say the jester was more powerful than a king!

And humour heals! Many of the racist and sexist jokes you hear come from victims themselves. They tell them so they can survive a terrible traumatic experience by being able to laugh at it. Laughter is one of the primal emotions. So you can see a gist already of the darker side of humour mixed with horror. And the clowns are coming out of the closet because we forgot how to laugh.

The sinister grotesque clown is a reflection of past collective trauma. The fear of the clown signifies the fear of the other. In the past in europe whenever there was a christian crusade their would be a bout of anti semitism to go with it. Jews were depicted as grotesque people with long noses who would do human sacrifice and eat children. In the history of racism in north america blacks and native amercians were depicted as sub human wild creatures and would exaggerate physical characteristics in a demeaning way in illustrations and political comics.

These evil clowns are that racism and stigmatization of the other manifested in mythological freak clowns which sometimes literally appear. They are the collective mass mirror image of the wrongdoings done to poor people, people of color, gays, eccentrics etc. anyone who could be deemed an other and not normal. It's a mythological urban legend mirror put back to big brother - the man - A sinister clown, who doesn't give a shit about you and is out for blood. It is our collective fear of the other that manifests these phantom clown sightings. And distorted depictions of the wicked other are coming back to haunt us for us to realise, we are the other, and the people on the bottom - people made to be second class citizens are the real people!!

So there are other conspircacies and collective hallucinations people have. A phenomenon in europe of big black cat sightings is an example. People who live in cities in europe,mostly in u.k. there is not much wildlife in their environment so there started having cat sightings that don't exist. Since they were deprived of nature in their environment they would collectively have these sightings as a way to bring it to the surface, for realisation of natures absence.

Culture is what our language looks like on the outside. It is sending a message. Its up to us to hear it and figure it out. Delve deeper than surface news but pay attention to signs and themes, and then look into the history of the phenomenon and human social behavior. How scary is that kids!?
