The second match of the official Test series is being played between India A and South Africa A. Indian captain Wriddhiman Saha won the toss and decided to bat first. By the end of the first day of the match, India had scored 203 for 3 wickets. The Indian team has also batted well on the second day.

The Indian team had a poor start on the second day of the match and Karun Nair returned to the pavilion with a wicket of Vian Mulder.

After his dismissal, Saha and Shivam Dubey handled the innings.

Captain Saha also scored his half-century but was lbw to Philander after scoring 60 runs. Before lunch, Shivam Dubey also completed his half-century and India A scored 339 for 4 wickets. Jalaj Saxena was supporting him on the pitch.

After lunch, Dubey returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 68 runs. Kuldeep Yadav, the leading bowler of the Indian team, was also part of the team for this match and he went on to score 2 runs. Shahbad Nadeem 11 and Umesh Yadav 23 followed up with Jalaj Saxena.

Indian innings were reduced to 417 runs and Jalaj remained unbeaten on 48 runs. For South Africa, Dan Piedt and Vian Mulder took 3-3 wickets. Apart from him, Vernon Philinder, Lungi Angidi and Lutho Cipmala took one wicket each.

South Africa A started poorly and Peter Malan was dismissed by Mohammad Siraj for just 6 runs. After his dismissal, captain Aiden Markram and Theunis de Bruyn handled the innings.

Both batsmen did not let their team get any more shock till tea on the second day. At the time of tea, South Africa A had a wicket for 33 runs. India A still lead by 384 runs on the basis of first innings.
