If India win the match, then they will win the series. This was the situation. Steve was the only barrier between Indian's winning. At that moment, young Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel was teasing him. He said,

Karnatak's medium pace bowler Dodda Ganesha played in the national team in 1996. In a match against South Africa, Alan Donald was unable to get the wicket of the 10th batsman Ganesh. Donald, despite sledging Ganesh, but Sachin's silence were making him bother. At that time, Sachin made the Donald's mood more worse. Very humbly he said,
"You are unnecessarily suffering. There is no profit by sledging Ganesh. He does not understand anything except a karnatak language. It is difficult for me to talk to him. And you're trying to bother him in complicate English."

In the Caribbean, Australia vs West Indies were playing. Merv Hughes were bowling to the windies legend Sir Vivian Richards. After every ball, he looked intently at Viv At a time Viv said to him,
"This is our place, our culture. And in our culture, we are keep bowling intently rather than looking at anyone"
After a while, Merv got Viv's wicket. And then he said to Viv
In our culture, we just say f..k off.
