Lewis Brilliance with bat Paul & Allen with the ball helped West Indies to clinch T20 series despite Umpiring Error

West Indies ended Bangladeshi tour by clinching the 3 match T20 I series by 3-1. This is the story of 3rd and final T20 I of the series.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to ball first. West Indies opener provided a brisk start and proved Bangladesh decision wrong. Bangladesh got first wicket when Shai hope departed after scoring 23 runs in 12 balls. At the end of first power play West Indies scored 88 runs. Platform was set to score above 200 runs but Bangladeshi bowlers bounced broke the scoring rate by picking up Lewis & Hetmyer in two consecutive deliveries.

Lewis smashed 89 runs in just 36 balls. He scored 6 boundaries and 8 towering sixes. Hetmyer managed to score 19 runs. After the dismissal of Lewis & Hetmyer West Indies managed only 68 runs in last 64 balls.

For Bangladesh Shakib ul Hassan, Mustafiz & Mahmudullah took 3 wickets each. Mahmudullah was the most economical bowler he conceded 18 runs in 3.2 over. West Indies bundled out after scoring 190 run.
In reply Bangladeshi batsmen started a brisk start. In search of quick runs Tamim departed early. He scored 8 runs.Liton Das smashed bowlers all parts of the ground. Thomas conceded 47 runs in 2 overs. Thomas was bit unlucky his declared noball due to umpiring error gave new life to Liton Das. BanglaDesh scored 62 runs in first 4 over. At that time BanglaDesh was favorite, but fifth and sixth over bowled by Allen & Paul tilted match in West Indies favor. Bangladesh lost Soumya & Shakib in the fifth over. Shakib got golden duck, Paul picked Mushfiq in the sixth over.

Liton Das fine innings ended after scoring 43 runs.No other Bangladeshi batsmen stood against the fine bowling of Paul and all team bundled out after scoring 140 runs. For Bangladesh Abu Haider score 22 and Mehidy scored 19 runs.

For West Indies Kemo Paul took 5 wickets and Allen took 2 wickets. West Indies won the match by 50 runs. Evin Lewis was rewarded man of the match award for his brilliance with the bat. Shakib ul Hassan clinched the man of the series. With this win West Indies clinched T20 series title.
