Bangladesh's Start was also not as good as it was thought to be. They lost to India in 2nd T20I by 6 wickets which was also played in R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. (All the matches will be played here on this ground only). But Bangladesh showed his temperament well, held their nerves and came back well against the Hosting Nation Sri Lanka by beating them in 3rd T20I by 5 Wickets

3rd Match of the Tri-Series Tournament named Nidahas Trophy Tri-Series was also played in R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Bangladesh won the Toss & opted to bowl. Their bowlers couldn't restrict the Srl Lankan batsmen under 150. Sri Lanka literally destroyed Bangladesh's bowling attacks score a mammoth total of 214 for loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. In 214 Runs, Kusal Mendis (57 Runs off 30 Balls), Kusal Perera (74 Runs off 48 Balls) & Upul Tharanga played some quick shots to help reach Team's total above 200. His contribution is way above anyone's else. He blasted his innings with quick 32 Runs off 15 Balls.

Almost all the Bangladeshi bowlers gave away runs and their bowling figures are not something to be remembered.

In Reply, Bangladesh chased down this mammoth total of 214 with sheer perseverance with the loss of 5 wickets. Mushfiqur Rahim, the man of the moment, delivered his one of his T20 Career best innings of 72 Runs off 35 Balls in which he decorated his innings with 5 boundaries and 4 long over-boundaries. He's been of late proved himself as someone who could be relied upon in the middle order and he's living up to everyone's expectations. Tamim Iqbal (47 Runs off 29 Balls ) & Liton Das (43 Runs off 19 Balls) helped build the innings the way the whole team of Bangladesh thought to be. They started off brilliantly & reached 70+ runs in just 5 overs.

Sri Lankan bowlers couldn't defend their big total. A huge scoreboard seemed undefendable just because of their poor bowling performances.
