India yesterday proved the pattern wrong of winning the match after losing the Toss. Bangladesh won the Toss as usual & as expected opted to bowl. India put on a competitive score of 176 Runs (for the loss of 3 Wickets in 20 Overs) on the board.

India's 4th match was a decider for the fact whether playing on Final is confirmed or not. India marked their third win in total 4 matches they played and remained top in the Points Table and thus made a clear way to the Final of the Nidahas Trophy Tri-Series. The Finale will be played on 18th of March, 2018 on Sunday.

5th Match of the Tri-Series Tournament was also played in R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Bangladesh, this time, won the toss and without changing the pattern put India to bat first. They restricted India to 176 for loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs, even though India had a solid & fantastic start. Captain Rohit Sharma showed his patience and scored 89 Runs off 61 Balls. Apart from him, Shikhar Dhawan 35 Runs off 27 Balls & Suresh Raina 47 Runs off 30 Balls help Rohit Sharma buld the partnership as when required.
From the Bangladshi bowlers perspective, all the bowlers looked helpless in the match except Rubel Hossain, who took two important wickets of Shikhar Dhawan & Suresh Dhawan & made Rohit Sharma run-out.
In Reply, Bangladesh started well with opener Tamim Iqbal but, at a regular interval, they kept losing wickets and nobody was able to make a solid stand except their wicketkeper-cum-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. He's the one who tried hard till the end to make things working for them but he failed. He remained not out at 72 Runs off 55 Balls.
The man of the moment for Indian bowlers was Washington Sundar whose figure of 4 overs - 22 Runs - 3 wickets literally destroyed all hopes for Bangladesh. Other than him, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur & Yuzvendra Chahal took one Wicket each..
