First of all, I'd like to say sorry to all my followers and well-wishers that I couldn't continue to provide blogs on cricket of late. Initially, I thought of giving updates about each and every IPL match but, I am not able to take some time out watching any match for say half an hour at least. Either my wife is occupying the TV set with her daily dose of melodrama and if she is not around the TV set, my daughter is not allowing me to watch the match or news as she's got to watch her share of Cartoon Programs. Now, tell me where from would I get time and space to watch any match or even get the news.
That's the only reason why I'm skipping IPL (Indian Premier League) this year.
But, how could I not get myself involved into the heart and soul of Cricket as I'm just a huge Cricket Fan.
Today's post is about one particular franchise which has had a very good track record in IPLs. A team which has already won the trophy for 3 times. I am talking about none other than "MUMBAI INDIANS". They have bagged the IPL Trophy in 2013, 2015 and last year (2017) but this season they have been outplayed totally so far.
Matches At a Glance:
1st Match was Against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) - Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs
2nd Match was Against Rajasthan Royals (RR) - Rajasthan Royals won by 3 wickets
3rd Match was Against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) - Mumbai Indians won by 46 runs
4th Match was Against Delhi Daredevils (DD) - Delhi Daredevils won by 7 wickets
5th Match was Against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) - Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 1 wicket
6th Match was Against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - Chennai Super Kings won by 1 wicket
Mumbai have probably been a little unlucky to lose a couple of games by very small margins but then again winning is a habit and at the moment they've forgotten how to do it. Tomorrow's game against top of the table CSK gives them a great chance to try and regain some confidence and build momentum. Let's see what happens

Yes, you are absolutely right. Mumbai Indians have forgotten the winning formula. Just look at their performances in previous few IPL's. they have won the title in 2013, 2015 and 2017 if that sequence continues then this year it's surely going to be a dull year and most probably we'll get to see them in action next season.

Hope you got to watch the game tonight! Mumbai needed that win, could change the direction of their tournament. By the way I write a blog on the IPL team of the week, would like to hear your thoughts on it https://steemit.com/cricket/@talesfrmthecrypt/ipl-team-of-the-week-week-3

Mumbai Indians is my one of the favorite teams in the beginning of IPL. Because of Sanath, Sachin & Malinga.
