in cricket •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hardik Pandya built a new record in a recent domestic match in India. In the Syed Mostak Ali domestic t20 tournament, Hardik is playing for Baroda.
In the last match against Delhi, he made 39 runs off one over of the bowler named Akash Soudan. He hit 5 sixers and a boundary. That's total 34 runs and there he got a no bowl and a by 4. That means total 39 runs off one over. Now this is the new world record of highest run in one over.
Before this Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh made 6 sixers in one over against Stuart Broad(England).
And Skot Styris(New Zealand) had the previous record of 38 runs off one over made in July, 2012.
