So you would just let the guy get away with it? It takes the cops forever to get here, at least in most places in the States. I thought you'd be so mad that you'd jump on him and claw his eyes out!

Janton, I don't even think about things like this, lol. For some reason, I always know what to do if I am in a tough situation, but lately I haven't been in one. I was many years ago, but those are the things I cannot talk about here. All I know is, that criminals usually stay away from me. I never ever had to face one here in Canada, although, I was close. And I faced one in Slovakia. He was trying to take my purse.

Well what is the crime rate in Canada? It must be very low? I love that about it. It's too cold for criminals up there! lol. I also like that they stay away from you, that is super cool!

It's not that cold here, lol. Anyway, the statistics are here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Canada
Well, I am protected, probably because my grandmother always prayed for us. She still watching over us I guess, with my grandfather.

Crime in Canada
Under the Canadian constitution, the power to establish criminal law and rules of investigation is vested in the federal Parliament. The provinces share responsibility for law enforcement (although provincial policing in many jurisdictions is contracted to the federal Royal Canadian Mounted Police), and while the power to prosecute criminal offences is assigned to the federal government, responsibility for prosecutions is delegated to the provinces for most types of criminal offences. Laws and sentencing guidelines are uniform throughout the country, but provinces vary in their level of enforcement.
