Beginning of doomsday

The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people.

It is disturbing to read newspaper or watch news these days. It makes me frightened, anxious and aggrieved. News of kids being murdered or sexually assaulted has become so frequent that I am perturbed. How long will it continue? Why are we so helpless? What have we (human being) become? Who are these people? Some noxious monsters who don't have a heart, mind, soul and conscience.

Is it not the beginning of doomsday? Can it get worse than this? We are just spectators who march with candles, lash out through blogs/posts (unfortunately that's what I am doing) or participate in debates in news channels but not more than this. So many questions but have no answers. Where have we failed as a society?

There are institutions like the Police and the Army to take care of the violent people. why do you torture yourself watching that kind of news?

Shouldn't we be aware of and responsible for what is happening around us? I feel Introspection is necessary sometimes no matter how disturbing and painful it is.

Sure, more awareness, responsibility and introspection sound good, yet we can easily become overwhelmed and paralyzed by too much of them.
Instead I try to concentrate on what I can do now, and maybe support the ones who can do more.

The law needs to be a bit strict in punishing these filthy animals. If the law and justice is in place, everything sud fall in order.

Yes, law should be strict and everybody should feel responsible to make a better world. Of course moral values given in the home and school are also important.
