If you don't handle your bank deposits and withdraw's in a certain way, today you can be penalized in the form of imprisonment. And, your entire bank balance can be stolen from you, or confiscated. If you happen to transfer an amount over $10,000 you will be reported by your bank to law enforcement as a "criminal suspect" for nothing more then having and moving $10,000. If you transfer your funds in smaller amounts, you can be accused of trying to avoid this $10,000 reporting rule, you can be imprisoned, and your bank account can be confiscated because you transferred amounts less then $10,000 at a time, and that's been defined by your government as money laundering, a crime.
This is real, and they are actually confiscating property when they think that you have too much, prosecuting you when you don't have enough, all for normal things that citizens do with their money everyday have been arbitrarily classified as crimes. And, whenever crimes are involved, confiscation and prosecution's are right behind. Criminalization of your harmless behavior is a favorite pass-time of your elected officials and public servants. Your personal management of your personal property whether it's your land, money, your car or your credit card has been "regulated" by tens of thousands of laws. And, they don't teach those "laws" in schools. They don't provide easy access to those "laws" online, but yet they tell you that your ignorance of those 10's of thousands of laws is no excuse for violating them.
Prosecutors like to brag, because there are so many laws, that they can prosecute almost any American on 3 crimes per day and at any given moment they wish. I promise you, that you are not compliant with the law, no matter how studious you are about your activities. I promise you that you are a "criminal" according to our current legal framework. And, this is what so many people have a hard time believing. If you are charged with a crime within the United States, you are five times more likely to be convicted and imprisoned for that crime then in any other country, in the world. You can point out any authoritarian "police state" warlord - dictatorship on the face of the planet, and the U.S.A. has more people Per Capita in prisons than in any other country. Five times more on average. The United States is the largest prison capitol of the world with 5% of the worlds population, and 25% of the worlds population, prisoners. So this non-sense of the United States being the most free and having democracy is what propagandaists call the biggest lie. The United States is neither free or open. So, how have we lost so many of our freedoms?

Corruption my friend. From a severely flawed election process that leaves incumbents beholding to donators. Once they're in office, lobbyists who should be arrested for attempted bribery are allowed to offer graft of one kind or another to get incumbents to swing cash or privilege to their group or interests. Congressmen have a much better chance of being wealthy than the general public, and that is very wrong. They should receive the same salary as the average american, and have to live with the same medical coverage and laws as the rest of us.

You're right, lobbyists are getting away with their criminal intent over the general public. They make more money on keeping a people dumb and keeping public education just lost with their own education and knowledge of there doing. They don't care about the public anymore, because it's not making them money to "care" about people as human beings anymore, rather creating people to become slaves in a way that they are things, subjects, citizens instead of having natural rights, we have citizen rights - or otherwise known as privileges that can be infringed upon or completely discarded. This makes rights non-existent to a citizen, where as a natural right - was just inherited rights, meaning we all had them. But, you're right. They aren't doing anything to work for the people as human beings anymore, rather they are subjects to their wealth and greed. They see money when a person walks into a court room, instead of seeing a person that is looking for justice. Nothing just happens anymore, because nothing they do is justified in regular English language, only legalese which they don't teach us in public schools. But, I wish that somehow we could end the whole political abusing system, where people can live naturally again, and raise their families and do whatever else that they want to do. Hell, I just want a family, a band, a true community - and not this false representation of one, and want to actually live and be left alone long enough to do these things... rather they are just stripped from me, through meta data, they collect from my internet, phone, computer, whatever... to use that private information, they claim to use to protect a people, and instead they just hurt you.
